Kokoa Yoshizaki (吉崎 心愛) is the deteuragonist of the Killer in Love manga series. She is the love interest of Ryūto Suzuki, a fellow student attending the same university as her whom she first meets at a drinking party. After telling him about how she feels she is being stalked, Kokoa asks Ryūto if he can be her pretend boyfriend to discourage the stalker.

Kokoa is a young brunette with long hair, straight bangs, often having braided hair. Kokoa has big, bright pink eyes and is often shown wearing dark girly kei fashion. She has a curvy figure and is considered beautiful and attractive by her peers. While she appears innocent most of the time, multiple times throughout the manga she appears to have white eyes with circle wings and small pupils. After Chapter 29, Kokoa has short hair, bags under her now-empty eyes and is visibly more distressed than before.

- Kokoa's name (心愛) translates to "heart love". 愛 refers to love, affection, fondness, to cherish, to adore or to be devoted to. 心 refers to the heart, but it can also be interpreted as the emotions and feelings.
- Kokoa is often drawn wearing dark girly and is referred to as a "landmine woman" (jirai-onna), which is a term for a girl who seems nice at first, but turns out to have psychological issues and be emotionally unstable once you start dating her. Jirai-onnas typically engage in self-destructive behaviour such as self-harm, drinking, smoking as well as being violent and obsessive, contrary to their cute appearance.
